are there any mounting brackets or whatever that can say, replace two or three 5.25" bays and let you moung 80mm or 120 fans in the front

i have the lian-li pc-v1100. personally i think the solid sheet of metal in the middle is really stupid, but i don't want to cut up my case either so i'm looking to install a 120mm fan in the front or two 80mms in place of 2 or 3 5.25" bays to serve as a top intake, was just curious of there were any premade fan mounting units for that purpose

How are your temps right now? If you don't NEED it, don't bother. They don't sell brackets for that BTW you'd have to jerry rig it.

Hmmm...Seems like two 120mm fans would keep you cooler than 48C. Maybe try an aftermarket set of 120mm fans with higher CFM rating to replace the 2 stock fans? What kind of heatsink and fan are you useing on your CPU?

i replaced the stock fans and have the huge zalman HSF.

my main concern is that there is no intake for the top half of the case.

Might just end up taking the side of your case off and seeing if that helps. Sorry, I know thats an absurd suggestion

I don't know where to find them, but they do make them, the 4U Rack mount Chassis I just bought came with one, but the company that sold it to me, didn't know where to get more brackets like that, and wouldn't tell me who their supplier was (Imagine that)
