From the big book of "DUH!"

It's not so 'duh'... there are lots of people here that are hesitant to fingering out Bin Laden... obviously it is him, but to some people it's not so obvious (maybe they're still hoping it's a non muslim that's guilty).

One thing I read earlier in another thread here, and I think it may shed some light on people's hesitancy to point fingers just yet: suppose if, just if it wasn't bin Laden. (Suspend your disbelief for the moment.) If he really didn't cause it, and yet we spend all our energy going after him, then whoever really did do it will still be out there and able to strike again. From a practical perspective, they need to make sure they don't miss somebody, so they have to be very thorough.

Its not so "duh" to some people, not because they don't suspect him, but because they want to make absolutely sure it is him.

Like me, for example. Of course I suspect Bin Laden, but I'm not quick to finger him as the proof-positive bomber.

Edit: I need to learn to type faster. Um, yea, what palad said. 😀
