Well I finally asked her out and its an Resounding YES. Now only if she doesnt stand me up. How do I go about the second phase.. i need advice.

You already know how we met, and you heard about the suttle flirtations that went accross. Like her dropping the pen only to have me pick it up and both of us laughing about it. It was that small stuff that got us talking. Then oneday (last weekend) I saw her on TV. She was in a ad for toyota of glendale. We talked on the phone a few days later and I teased her about it and she took it very well. We had a hearty laugh about it. It was not like she brushed me off she would put me on hold get the other customers and then come back to me, so I knew something was there.
Fast forward to today, I hadnt talked to her in a few days. So I go in, and peter isnt there (my service advisor). I dont see the guy, I wait in line for a few minutes and when the crowd clears I ask her if peter is around and she says no, he took off for the day. I told her then that I was told to take teh car for a test drive and then return. So she called the mechanic and we started talking.I commented first that she changed her hair color a bit and she asked me if I would like her if she had colored it brown, I said yes. She then asked me if I came by motorcycle and i said yes, and pointed to it.I then remembered someone here saying I should ask her if she wanted to go on a ride. Well I asked her that, she said she had been on one a long time back but she was scared. I told her not to be scared and that I am a safe rider and that she would be fine with me. All this time we were smiling at each other. We talked about what each person was doing etc etc. By the time mike the mechanic came by and we took the car for a spin. I came back and said bye to her and said that I would be back later that evening after class to pay for it and pick it up.
I went home kicking myself. I knew that if I didnt ask her out then and on that day I would blow it completely, i mean she asked me if I would like her hair color brown. So I called my best friend vinu and he wasnt sure if she was being just courteous or being flirtatious. I mean she could be doing her job and being friendly and I havent taken it teh wrong way. The reason vinu said that s cause in the past I have been notorious in not detecting when a girl is coming on or turning on and when she is just plain being nice to me. Anyway I took a gamble and said i am going to call her and ask her out.
Later that afternoon around 2 30 I called toyota of glendale and asked to speak to roxanne. I said "Hi recognise me, the guy with teh motorcycle" and she said "yeah"
Then i said " I know this will make me sound like a dork, but will you go out with me". She was taken aback and sort of didnt know what to say , i then said "I really would like to know you, your an interesting person" she then said "I dont konw I work a lot", I said "dont worry I got time" and then I said " I would have asked you out at work but I didnt want people there to know about me asking you out and me causing trouble with your supervisors". She giggled and laughed. She then put me on hold for a few seconds and then got back to me..."I then said you dont want to say anythign now you dont have to, I got to get back to class and I will come by to pick up my car later."
I come back from class head out with my bro to the dealership. He goes to park the car and i go into the service dept. I ask the service guy that if i had to go to the cashier to get my paper work or do they still have it with them. The guy goes yeah the cashier has it. Roxanne is filing stuff then and I grab her attention by calling her name and say "Hi" and she smiled at me (one of those luvy dubby smiles) and says "Its yeah".. it sort of shocked me.. litterlly shocked me cause I didnt expect it that soon. We smiled and I was gloating. I then called my co-worker dan to tell him teh news. Before i left for the dealer I IMed dan and told him about me asking her over the phone. he told me to ask her "if she thought about what we talked about" but I never even got to ask that question.
So I go to pay the bill, I tell my name and the girl goes "manjul bose" i said yeah and this chick is overly smiling at me and trying to size me up. I didnt realise it then. My brother was writing the check and i walked around a bit trying to get a peice of paper. I then asked the cashier if she had a peice of paper, I need to write something down. She tore me a peice of paper and goes like "writing a love letter huh", I was shocked cause i didnt know what she was reffering to initally, and I said "Oh I am just writing a thank you note to peter for pulling a leg to get my catalytic converter" (which was the truth to an extent). I didnt want to say "yeah its a love letter", however she persisted and I still kept to my story. I guess she knew.. these girls knew who I was cause roxanne talked to them.
Anyway I went back to the service dept, went talked to teh other service agent and told him to thank peter for me. THe guy said sure.. and then I turned to roxanne and smiled and said "now I dont have any other reason to come here" and dropped the peice of paper into a trash can by teh side. SHe quietly leaned over and got it. THat peice of paper had my name and phone number.
Now I am hoping she would call me, sometime.. Otherwise i will call her on tuesday or wednesday at work and set up a date.. The thing is I was planning to lay off for a while, but my car's "Check engine light" came on, so I might have to go back sometime next week to get that looked at and see what caused it.
Anyway I am so thrilled. I just cant forget her face, she is so cute.. yes she is taller than me, and probably older but the fact is that I actually went thru with this.
After years of being a "loser" and not being able to go thru with my intentions this is the first time in ages (well 5 years I would say) that I actually gone thru with and actually won.. Well not exactly won i would still have to go out with her.. but the fact that I got that "yes" or in my case "yeah" means a lot to me.. its sort of bumped my personal confidence and self esteem. I am even getting a bit more daring.. who knows where this will lead.
