Hey there all...I am thinking of upgrading my C600 to a D600. Anyone have experience with the D600? I love my C600. The D6 is a 1.4, and my C6 is a PIII 1ghz. Thoughts? Screen res's, both have SXGA+. Wanted to know build quality, durability and so forht...impressions?

My users use the D600 almost exclusively at work. Great "work" laptop, but not the greatest for gaming. If that's what your looking for, I'd wait for the 610, should be out later this month.
 
the c600 was a pretty good system. if you use wireless a lot it might be worth to upgrade to built in centrino. the d600 is sweet but the d800 is even sweeter.
 
cheers for the shouts! I think I will wait then! Not much of agamer, but at this point, my C600 meets all my needs ( I have a proxim wireless card which couldn't make me happier!)_
 
I have a C600 that I bought. I love it (besides the video card, 8MB 🙁 ) but from day one my sound keeps cutting out. I'll be using it for 20 min. and suddenly I hear silence. From what i've heard, it sounds like my sound card overheats and then shuts off. You guys ever have any trouble with this. I'm out of warranty, but i'll be getting a new laptop in the spring for college. Any thoughts?
