fvck her, and fvck everyone like her that is too stupid to live........it's not rocket science to realize that ANYTHING can happen at ANY TIME...the loss of a job, the death of the bread winner, a fire that burns down your house and takes everything you own, your kid causing a fatality because of their poor driving skills and someone suing you because of it, any of those things can put you in a similar situation.....if people would live by the simple rule that their job can be taken at any time for any reason they might be better off.

Just because you have a job does not mean that it cannot be taken from you at any given time....nothing is set in stone......and nothing is preventing you from learning something or getting trained in a field that you can fall back on if you do loose your primary job....don't live on what you make...live as if you make half of that....when something like this strikes you won't have to struggle so hard.

"fvck everyone like her that is too stupid to live". That appears to include you as you have to be pretty stupid not to understand the difference between lose and loose.

yes because unsound financial decisions that cause you to be a burden on others who follow common sense and me adding an extra "o" in a word are just about equal.........

sorry she is still the bigger looser....and still too stupid to live....not just because of her piss poor judgment, but because that judgment also put her children in jeopardy....hopefully though they will be a bit smarter and learn from the pathetic example set by their sorry ass of an excuse for a mother.

How intelligent do you have to be to understand the following:

1- a job can be gone in an instant.

2- a husband or wife who is the primary income earner can be taken from you any time any place.

3- an accident that is not your fault such as a the negligence of another driver can wipe you out financially if they are uninsured.

4- a fire can take everything you own.

5- an unforeseen health issue can wipe you out.

6- a divorce can leave you high and dry.

7- a car wreck that is your fault or the fault of your child can cause you to get sued for everything.

those are just half a dozen things that can cause you to lose everything.

Sure, no one likes to think about it, but......lets think about it for a minute....on a weekly basis how many news stories do you hear where:

Jobs are lost
A husband dies leaving his family with nothing
An uninsured motorist drives drunk and kills someone or maims them forcing them to pay thousands in medical bills
a fire destroys someones home or apartment
someone is suddenly stricken with cancer and cannot afford the medical bills

These stories are played out on tv and in the papers everyday.

It is the dumbest of the dumb that do not heed what they see and what they read and what they hear and learn from the mistakes of others.

Everyone can learn something from someone....if they choose, or they can go on living in blissful ignorance.

You do not have to live your life like chicken little on a day to day basis, but you should live your life and plan as if you could lose everything. If you don't you are a fool. There are so many people that fall into the same trap every day when are people going to learn and quit assuming it will never happen to them?

Wow! So, are you going to kill her? Have you spoken to the estranged husband and know the whole story?

So, if I've saved a million dollars but come down with some exotic disease that's not covered by insurance and cost millions to cure, I'm too stupid to live?

Sorry but not everyone can be perfect like yourself and protect themselves from every disaster and especially multiple ones.

Yeah, that's surely the case here. We should start a charity drive her behalf.

Beautifully put, Jean.

well lets look at that shall we?

If you have saved a million dollars chances are you have sound financial judgment....something I have already brought up as many others, that is something this woman is severely lacking.

Chances are that if you have a million dollars saved you have much higher income wage, or if you have lost a job, you have the brains to find something that will pay you close to what you had before.

You also understand the concept of putting money away for a rainy day.
You also understand the concept of putting your money to work for you.
You also understand that it's not money in particular that is your salvation, but it is more your attitude about money that separates you from the poor.

You learned these habits not from anyone in particular, but from your observations of those around you. Sure you may have had influence from a parent or guardian but in the end it comes down to the fact that you are not nearly as inept as this woman.

Although your disease is life threatening chances are you have enough to take care of you, either in cash or assets.

There are those that are nothing but leeches on society and this woman is just one example of someone who wants the ball thrown to her every time but is unwilling to throw back.

when you do nothing but take, take, take from those that are trying to provide for their own children and doing it with hard work, determination and an attitude that no one owes them a damn thing then yes, to me...and it very well may be only me....you are too stupid to live because you are incapable of learning from your mistakes and the mistakes of others and forcing other people to sacrifice from their children and their families.

She is not retarded.
She does not have a debilitating disease.
She has not been in any major accident.
She is not the victim of some horrendous crime.

She is someone who made poor choices and now wants everyone else to fix her fvck up because her husband is not around to do it.

Another one bites the dust.
I'm just glad that the California tax payers have to feed her and not me.

I applied for pre-approval for a home loan yesterday at my credit union and I was just BS-ing with the loan officer. I asked her how they were doing with all of craziness going on with mortgages. She said they were fine since they don't do interest-only loans and they try to explain to people how buying more house than they can afford is a bad idea.

I've never understood the appeal of living beyond your means and I sure as hell don't understand how anyone can think that interest-only payments are a good idea.

Via California_Kid:

Here's a little more information about Patricia Guerrero's financial situation from public records (LA County Assessor and Recorder):

The 2,948 square foot house on a quarter acre lot was built in 1948.

She and her estranged husband Ray acquired the house, apparently from HIS PARENTS Israel and Esther Guerrero, in August 2002, at which time the debt load on the property was about $157,000.

Ray and Patricia took out a conventional fixed-rate first trust deed on the property on 8/14/2002 for $202,000.

I'll spare you all the gory details of their various refinancings and equity loans, but the present note from 8/21/2006 is for $649,999.

So, it looks like they bought the place for a sweetheart deal and proceeded to jack themselves up to the tune of about $450,000 over a period of just 4 years.

To be fair, we don't know the details of why the additional debt was procured. It could have been for a medical emergency, etc. However, I'm considerably more skeptical of her plight after seeing those details.

I just imagined someone driving 90mph down to road to the bank saying this out loud. Now I have the giggles...

I was going to hold off on buying a house, but my rent just keeps going up and housing prices just keep going down. With the way this area is growing, buying a house now seems to be a sound decision.

I can't sleep at night if I don't have at least three times my monthly bills sitting in my checking account. I couldn't live like these people. I'd lose my hair.

If it were for medical emergencies, I have no doubt that they would have played up that aspect.

I find it strange how everyone is yellin' at her saying she's stupid when the reason she can't pay this isn't because she doesn't make enough (in a sense), it's because she was fucking laid off you idiots.

When she was laid off in February, Patricia Guerrero was making $70,000 a year.

Thank you captain obvious, but she wouldn't be in a such a deep shit if she was living below her means while saving some of $2,500 interest only mortgage. She couldn't even last two months without working which means she didn't save at all and spent too much compared to what she was making.

Maybe, the house was purchased when she was still with her husband.

I'm betting at least one of those refi's went to give him his cut in the divorce. We've got a friend who's in this same position.

My aunts is there too. Before they divorced the house was nearly paid off and was worth twice what they paid. Then my uncle left and took half, so my aunt ended up owing a lot.
