Anyway, the books are over 50 years old. Its the one movie that should probably be exempted from the "no spoilers" rule. I wont give any out, but cmon people. Thats like saying I shouldnt put spoilers in a thread about the bible.

Just because it's 50 years old, doesn't mean everybody has read it. Hell, even the guy that played Frodo didn't read the entire thing.

Then I guess it doesn't matter that we're posting it on an internet message forum, they won't be reading it anyways.

i haven't read any of the books and never plan on it. then again, i don't plan on seeing the movie either.

Wow your an ass. I just bearly watched the first one to get caught up and eventually plan to watch the 3rd. Yes im eventually going to see them all, but id rather watch the movie then have a dumbass tell me what happens. thanks bro.

so you are saying, in all your time, you cannot read the books, or even watch the movies within a year of them coming out? Should we ban spoilers of The Wizard of Oz for you too?

I have looked for the thread that has motivated all these parodies and can not find it. Can someone please provide a link to it.

Thanks

Um, maybe he wasn't interested in reading the books? The vast majority of people i know have watched the LOTR and planning on watching this last one, and they've never read the books. Hell, i read the books back 15 years ago, but i don't remember 95% of it.
