meanwhile in Asia, saw these bad boys yesterday:

Not weird enough. It's Japanese Layeiu! Why no used panties flavored?

I was in a freaking WALMART exchanging the kids logo-less polos the schools here require for the next larger sizes and people (if you can call them that) were all raving about the Mac and Cheese and one busted open a bag right there (and then threw it in the trash instead of paying for it when done).

I pointed it out and they said they don't do anything over a bag of chips.

I don't eat chips that often but as I mentioned above the Wasabe / Ginger were good to me.

All of these are artificial flavors.

So someone stole a bag of chips right on front of you? WTF.

Brown gravy isn't real gravy. It tastes bad and is for commie Canadians.

Gravy is made from roasted meat and/or bones, that is why it is brown. :hmm:

I picked up a bag of wasabi ginger ones yesterday. They're good, if you're a sushi fan which I am. My brother's grocery store also carries the Asian Lays, some lobster flavored ones.

because WalMart.

They were in front of us in the customer service line. They chowed down the chips and as they walked away through the bag in the trash. I mentioned to the lady at the desk what they did and that's when she said they don't get involved over a bag of chips.

Another 365 days until I have to go there...I actually may order from Land's End as I was told they have logo-less polos.

Also in that WalMart line the Mango ones were slammed by too FRUITY as well by the people in the line. No one commented on the Cappuccino, however; being WalMart that may be too big a word for them to understand.

Two people also had no shoes on in that line.

I'm still waiting for Lays to make a nice batch of Veggie Chips, too bad the market for this stuff started growing after the health craze.

Most of those chips sound pretty nasty. But what really disgusts me is the
Clamato flavored Budweiser they sell at the store. Gross.

Aren't these lays chips (finalist)submitted ideas by the public? I thought this was for a contest and whoever wins gets some prize and their chip mass produced for a while.

Not sure if anyone cares, but here is your UBI for the day....Wasabi Ginger won the competition. The woman (a nurse from NJ) got 1 million for it. Her flavor will be on shelves until July, at which point they will determine whether or not to keep selling it.

Old news, the contest was over in October, I just randomly stumbled upon an article about it and remembered this thread.

That one was tasty.

I agree...out of the flavors I tried I did like that one.

We brought it to a few parties actually and people flamed the 'Frito Lay Flavor' thing.

Those chips got consumed and at follow up parties they were present.

I don't eat a lot of chips...those are good ones.

Many like Honey BBQ, I hate them.

When I eat chips I want something like Salt and Vinegar, Sour Cream and Onion, Cracked Pepper, etc.
