Fringe May 5 2009 what happened at the end?

DVR stopped with the chick that has the bionic arm from massive dynamic going up the elevator because idol ran over, just like the past few episodes (and no, i still didn't learn to record whatever comes on after fringe)

anyone have a clip or a synopsis?

Nina (Massive Dynamics woman) met with people in masks when she got up the elevator, got shot it looked like.

The bald guy with the hat and suitcase told Walter "It's time to go" ("Already? Ah, let me get my coat"), then they left together. That might have been before the Nina part though, don't remember.

Reply to Skoorb's thread:

I extended the recording on my Scientific Atlanta 8300HD, no problem. Well, there is a problem, in that it only works for the current show. I think you have to manually change it again the following week. The other solution is just to record to entire show after it as well.

P.S. All we know is she was shot at. We don't know if she died. In fact, she was almost off camera as she was shot.

I hate American Idol. 🙂 But yeah, it should be up on Hulu, if not that, you could try usenet if you have access.

It's pretty damn annoying..they need to axe that brain dead idol show dammit!

Hate having to miss 5-10 minutes of a good show 🙁.

That was before the nina, elevator part. I too just aw her get on the elevator.

It's getting pretty good!

Per the next week preview that immediately followed the show we saw her in some type of surgery outfit getting worked on.

And I'm glad the one FBI guy got fried; loved his char on the NO cop show, but he was dragging here (of corse that's probably how his char was designed)

Yeah, i am glad to see the FBI guy go too. He was so bland and boring, I knew there was something going on with him when he said to Olivia to stop investigating Bell.

I really like this show which means one thing, it'll get canceled. Happens ever damn time.
Happens to me too. Fox has renewed Fringe.

I hope everyone recognized the voice of William Bell.

I just got on this show (about 7 eps back). Who is William Bell? I know he owns "Massive Dynamic"....and he worked with Walter....but is there anything else?

Who was the bald guy that told Walter it was time to go?

The bald guy is who Walter called the traveler or watcher. He seems to be able to pop around through time and space and was always at the site where interesting things happen.
There is certainly more with Walter and Bell. But we don't know what because of Walters memory loss.

Something about Walter and Bell preparing children for something that was coming. That is why they did the experiments on the children.
Next week is the season finale, so expect to be left hanging.

Thanks.

Damn, hopefully my Tivo recorded the whole thing. I don't remember if I set just one episode to record extended time, or the whole season pass.

I didn't hear Bell say anything in this epi, though I did miss the last 2 minutes.
So I googled and found out whose voice it was.
Cool.

William Bell is the former lab partner of Walter Bishop and founder of Massive Dynamics. With the company's total wealth in excess of $50 billion, he is considered one of the wealthiest men in the world. Evidently he also possesses great technical knowledge and expertise; Nina Sharp says her fully functional robotic arm was built by Bell himself. Since Bell shared a laboratory with Walter Bishop, it is likely he also has an in-depth knowledge of Fringe science. Walter himself states that Bell was the only other person who really knew what their experiments were about.

The casting of William Bell had been announced to be Leonard Nimoy. [1] Nimoy as Bell is first heard in voice-over in "Bad Dreams" and will make his first appearance in "There's More Than One of Everything" with a recurring role scheduled for Season 2.
