Cliff Notes:

Driving, honked lady at traffic light. She drives REALLY slow, gives me finger, calls cops on me claiming I'm tailgating. Cop gives me non-tailgate ticket.

I was on my way to Sears to try to get some tools to work on my busted car. I'm taking a POS beater with crappy brakes and no power and good gas mileage to the mall.

I'm minding my own business driving through local roads (40mph limit in NJ) and I'm stopped behind some people in a Hyundai SUV. I have no idea why but they sit at the light for a good 5+ seconds with it green so I beep them once to get their attention to the green.

So they floor it and then hit their brakes to 30mph. So obviously I have to slow down and I end up like 2 car lengths back. Next traffic light they move off normally and when they hit a bend, they brake check me around the curve. Obviously since I'm 3 car lengths behind, it's not like I'm close so it has me back within 2 car lengths of them as I wait for them to speed up.

Next light, she gives me the finger and I'm sitting there wondering what I did wrong?? Was she PO'ed that I honked her or something?? Did they not notice that they were going 25-30 in a 40 and I was following appropriately for that speed? Did they get sand their crotch or something?

The cop pulls me over and I'm wondering what the heck's going on. He tells me those buttnuggets called and complained about "erratic driving" and the whole license and registration thing. So right now I'm pretty PO'ed that they get to act like Aholes and I'm gonna get the short end of the stick because they had a "witness in the car."

Cop gives me a bit of an attitude when he asks for my license and registration. Cop waits until they leave and checks to find my perfect driving record and says those ladies wanted him to nail me for 5pts but he'll give me a BS ticket with no points for $130.

I'm still really PO'ed about how those b1tches are probably laughing their @$$es off at how they were able to screw someone over because they had a bad day. :disgust:

I didn't mention to the cop about the finger but that just doesn't seem right. Just because they were two people and I'm one, they get to jerk me? WTF??? Was there something I should have done? Bradruth?

Fight the ticket, I wouldn't fvcking pay $130 for doing nothing wrong.

*edit* Ya know what, if you were capable of getting their license plate # and somehow find out where they live, if you really wanted to be an asshole do this. Go to their house oneday and wait for them to leave, then when they do call the cops that they are driving drunk or something else where they will get pulled over. Fvck them back!

what pisses me off is the fvcking dumbass cop couldnt think more than what he is told and gave u some bs ticket... fvcking dipsh1t pigs.. i dont know what else you could have done. they are smart(dumb) enough to stick with whatever bs they come up in the first place..

i feel sorry for u :( just think of it as bs pig tax :(

the cops have absolutely NO evidence whatsoever... how can he just go from what someone says? I'd find out where they live and after fighting the ticket I'd go back and fvck them over just like they did to you. complete bullsh!t.

Expired inspection... it's my brother's car and he's supremely lazy with it so it's got an expired inspection. I told him months ago that if I get caught for it, he's paying so $130 to him. Though I'm still PO'ed that they had me pulled over for pretty much nothing.

EDIT: /me Taiwanese American... PROFILING??!!

So you didn't get cited for anything related to the aforementioned incident? A call is generally enough PC for a stop, but you were cited for something else that you already knew about. Make your brother pay the fine.

And the race card is about the worst excuse in the world.

while agree that it's bullsh!t i don't think he got the ticket because of his nationality/race.

you got a ticket for expired inspection. and you had an expired inspection.

if you never came across those ppl, you would still have had an expired inspection.

My bet is that if the cop really wanted to be a prick, he could have found a long list of stuff to write tickets for.... the usually can.

you did not get what you did not deserve. it was not the cops fault at all... what did you expect him to do, pretend he did not find out you were expired?

I am a white male, but I will say the race 'card' is totally valid. I haven't been pulled over with an asian friends, but I have with some black/islanders and it's a night and day difference some of the time.

Now I will say the vehicles may have something to do with that, street racer types/exotics and big SUVs.

However, still, these guys were not necessarily not breaking any laws EVER, but at the time they weren't...they also were not 'thieves' which was claimed a lot by jealous white guys ('well I guess if I broke into cars too, I'd have a nice system, wheel, etc')..

Racism exists, cops are people, cops can be racists too.

Now the OP seems to have a problem, I am willing to bet he is one of those that have honked as the light just changes green, is riding people's tails, and passing at the last minute to get two people calling the police, he may be just unlucky too though...

I will be a huge a$$hole to people that are inconsiderate on the road, let them try to brake check me...I will totally pass them on it and they can have a choice to nearly rear end me or go offroad. Not to mention get me at the next red light and I will get the F out of my car and confront them. I drive at a 'brisk' pace, but I am not tailgating nor cutting left and right...if traffic won't let me go, I slow it down....if some motorist is deciding to just play 'box me in', then that is different. Fortunately before that happens I have already dialed *FHP and let the law handle the wannabe law enforcer. A quick response comes from "I think he has a pistol in his car, he pointed something back at me...I think he was joking, but I am not sure now as someone else just locked up their brakes next to them...." :evil:

I am totally 'nice' on the road for the most part, I like to drive and I am never in a 'race'...if someone is going slow and not yielding right, then so be it...I wish we had better laws here, but I will pass on the right (not a flyby pass though...that's just moronic). If a guy isn't first off the line at a green light, so what (as long as he didn't cut me off to get in front...then I will beep pretty quick), however, go 10 seconds you will get a honk tap. What I find p!sses people off is instead of a honk tap, people do the HOOOOOONNNNNNKKKK HOOOOONNNNNKKKK HOOOOOOOONNNNNNKKK!!!!! x 3, like WTF, not only does it confuse the driver not paying attention in front of you, it freaks out the other people on the road that now start coming into my lane because they are seeing their lives pass before their eyes....and heaven forbid if it's wet out....it's like Ice Skating 101. People do this to other's also waiting to make a left turn across lanes, which is totally their right...if you weren't following so close to begin with you could have changed lanes to avoid them most of the time (sometimes the do come to a powerstop with no turn signal :( )

All in all I found the slowest to the destination are the 'weavers'....take it smooth and you can make way better time avoiding all those that witness you in their rearview mirror passing left and right and cutting people off. Don't be an a$$ and people won't work against you getting to where you want to be.

Cars and driving are my favorite past time....I have a lot of miles and problems/police alterations/etc behind me now. I will say cops can be total pr!cks though, my last ticket was a total BS one though...7am on martin luther king day...I am like the only one on the road, taking my normal route....I see the same cop ahead I always have.

He walks out into the road to stop me, I am looking down, 40 in a 35...ok I am thinking...

He comes over says 'do you realize you were going 65? I am going to give you a break and put down 50 though....'

I said flat out no way...anyways...it was a BS ticket, the ticket said 50mph but in the middle comment section had in all CAPS '65 MPH BY RADAR ACTUAL' next line something about me being the only vehicle in range...my car is not stock, me contesting a ticket is going to be a waste of time, I just pay them out or take driving school depending if it's worth it (don't waste driving school for a 5-9mph ticket, you only get a few times total in life).

I have a cop I pass each day now on another road (he may be the same cop that I got the first ticket from, both motorcycle cops so you can't really tell)...I was passing traffic on the left one day going the speed limit...a bunch of other people were braking and getting to the right because they saw 'him'. Cop totally points his radar at me and then tracks me 180 degrees like he is hunting a deer. Since then he gives me 'signals' many days, like points at me as I approach then his 'unit'. He is just waiting..I have screwed up a couple times and been about 10mph over, fortunately he already has someone or two. Depending how much longer he is there (it's been about 2 months) he is bound to catch me if he wants, the limit is a 45mph to 30mph '1 block speed trap' to 45 mph again.

I so want to shoot him a bird everyday can yell FU PIG!

those women probably show some skin to donut eating cop hence he don't like you and want that $130 instead of letting you off.
