Appreciate the help

nice, but i might get rid of the sb sound card and get something else, to many problems in my opinion, and not just the 686b bug

NO reason to get the retail version of the sound blaster live! As for the rest, it looks good and the case is SWEET, as I own it and black is very nice.

The system is gona be fast, but if your friend is willing to do it, try SCSI out.
Also I recommend either the Alpha heatsink or hedgehog because of the heatsink/fan clip design.

Good looking rig so far. My only main advice is to try and get most parts from the same vendor so you can save a lot on shipping. Also, buy from out of your state so you don't pay taxes.

Hyudra, whats so good about alpha/hedgehog clips? If anything I thought they were sufficient, they kept the HS on, but if you want a really good clip, go with the new copper-bottomed Taisol heatsink. It is quality.

The clips are easy to put on and take off. I'll have to try the new taisol and see if that clip is any good. Some are just easy to put on and impossible to take off.
