Friend's build

i have never used an MSI board personally but i do know that you might find it better to go with another brand such as ASUS or Gigabyte

and you will see better results with a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme isntead of the Tuniq especially if you plan on overclocking alot
 
What kind of monitor? You may be better off with a $200 video card now, and another $200 card in a year or two.

That's a good idea. The Extreme will run a EE proc 5C cooler than a Tuniq at a stable 3.9G...but more importantly, it will allow you to squeeze another 60MHz out of the proc...and it would only cost an additional $53 than the Tuniq.

Whoops, I forgot about the fan...gotta buy one of those, too! That bumps the cost up a little, but don't get a cheap fan or the Tuniq will blow the Extreme out of the water. If you have a side window on your case, you'd have to look at the fan, too.

Of course, you might not even be able to get the Extreme mounted...that would be a b!tch...

Or you could get a Tuniq from SVC for far less than half the cost of the Extreme, and you don't have to see the included fan thru the side window...as long as you can deal with a 5C difference in temperature and a loss of 60MHz, the Tuniq is the better choice for the price.

Personally, I would go with the Armor at $120 AR over the 900. I just finished building my machine with this case, it's as beautiful as it is awesome. The 900 never really got me thrilled...

Otherwise, this system looks good.
 
Helped with a friend's build that was very similar to this. Same motherboard, and had no problems with it. I can't remember where, might have been here, but the motherboard got good reviews from a legitimate source.

He also had the 640mb evga 8800gts, and is very pleased with the build thus far.
