Don't get me wrong, I respect your intimate connection to the world of adult entertainment and assume your knowledge on all things porn is second to none. Its not my position to pass moral judgment on people in the sex industry. I personally don't believe sex is inherently evil or dangerous. Just like any industry there are people that run the entire gamut of lifestyles in the adult business. From responsible intelligent and successful entrepreneurs to self destructive crackheads.

I am not speaking for the underground sex slaves and things of that nature.

I don't know why people get so pissed off about a chick like this. What she was doing wasn't hurting anyone and it's a lot of money to make plus some like the attention it gives. People seem to yearn to make someone like this a victim that needs saving; up at UF there were quite a few chicks with extremely high GPA and challenging classes (other medicine/pharmacy/nursing/science majors). Back then web stuff wasn't so popular, but many worked at topless/nude bars a night or two a week. In less than 8 hours they could make more than a full time wage. A lot couldn't qualify for financial aid due to wealthy parents and oddly their parents did not approve of them doing something so 'intellectual' with their time thinking it would be a turn off to suitors if they were too smart.

Most were not interested in marrying at the time and not wanted to be just a trophy wife although most could have done just that.

Doing adult film work IMHO is no more dangerous than just being out and about at clubs all night. In any alternative circle there are many deviants, you just try to be as careful as you can. At the same time most successful serial killers were very clean cut, proper and polite.

I was thinking more along the lines of the guy taking pictures of her while she was still alive and posting them up. I know this has happened in fiction but I don't think it has actually happened in reality yet. It would be pretty messed up...

Fairly unlikely, if there were pictures posted after her disappearance, its very likely they were taken beforehand.

Sites like that are driven by memberships, they will take a ton of pictures/videos over the course of a few days and slowly release them over time to keep the customer paying monthly fees.
