~$175 installed in my area.

FYI. For those who dont know, they have a mandatory 8 year warranty due to EPA. Just had mine replaced for free at the dealership.

Wow, now that's the kicker!!!

Maths > j00.

2006 - 1996 = 10, not 8.

Well the crap version will cost 50 bucks, but if you would like a good part that has a 5 year warranty it will run 500 bucks for one according to www.autozone.com

Now, I don't know exactly what they put on your car, but most places will NOT put on the 50 dollar special because they don't want to have to put the blasted thing on 4 times a year for nothing because the part keeps failing.

Edit: put the wrong year in, but the main point still stands. The Autoshop does not want to put on cheap parts, becaue then they have to fix it when it breaks.

I paid a guy $50 to just cut mine out and put in a straight pipe :p

Long time ago though and on a car I no longer have.

I bought a high flow direct-fit Magnaflow cat for $90 shipped off ebay. Put it on myself.
