My friend make a fake myspace account for his freind and screwed around with it. He found some random girl on it and told her that he was going to rape her as a joke. He had no intention of doing it and the cops called him today because the girls parents called the cops about it. he told me that he might get a class D felony for intimidation. he said the investigator told him that his boss will decide on whether to let him go of give him the felony. What are his chances?

btw: cops found out it was him by his IP address
 
I hope he goes to jail. He is a certified dumbass, and If I were the girls father I would want to punch his fucking teeth out.
 
You reap what you sow. Your friend deserves whatever the authorities decide is a fitting punishment. C'mon man.... "joking" about rape is just fucking stupid.

I have two daughters and I hope your "friend" is punished to the fullest extent of the law - that "joke" was hardly funny.
