Friend needs a black case with no window and good cooling...

I really like this case for him. Lightweight and seems to have good cooling. Can anyone reccomend a better black case, no window, in the $80-$120 range? No psu included please. Thanks.

EDIT: If it means anything, he is planning on putting a 480 watt neopower or some antec psu like a TP II or something. I tried to talk him into the P150 with the 430 watt but its all white, and he wants black. He thought it was really nice looking and great on the inside but was turned off by the "ipod-ish" nature of it...

Antec 3000b, cheap and provides good and quiet cooling. As to the PSU, get a Seasonic instead, they make good PSUs, and they are really quiet to boot.
 
I second the Antec SLK300-B for about $50. shipped from Provantage. Hard to beat for casitude for the money. It will need a second 120mm fan as it only comes with one 120x25mm. The front can take 120x25mm, the rear can take up to 120x38 with a bit of modding (as the plastic cage is for 25mm thick. But some of the new CoolerMaster cases for under $100. are nice too (the Centurion series) - only have aluminum on the fronts.
. And the Kingwin 424 series is always on my short-list.

The Seasonic has the 2x4 for Dual Xeon etc. that will also plug into the PCI-e, 2x3 connector on the mobo if there is a bit of clearance off the end of the mobo's 2x3 connector.

Thats the case i put in my post lol. Anyone else have anything to say on PSUs? I thought Antec was the best when did that change?

 
The linked PC-7 only has 1x120mm fan.

At SVC.com, for $14 more you get 2x120mm BB fans=better deal.

Re. When did that change? Google>Antec leaking caps.

PSU? Sparkle, Fortron,Seasonic,PC P&C, Zippy etc, lots of real good'ens.

Couldn't have said it better myself. That is a really nice case. I believe it's made of the same rock solid, beautifully-finished aluminum as the WaveMaster. Unparalleled for fit & finish. Pics don't do these cases justice -- you really have to see 'em in person. :thumbsup:
 
I reccomend Gigabyte 3d Aurora. Its lightweight, it comes in black (or silver) and its got great cooling (1x 120mm intake and 2x 120mm exhaust). It doesnt have a window, but it has a perforated mesh side which is good for cooling too.

Yeah I have the Tsunami Dream (exact same except with a side window) and I love it (which is the reason why I recommended it in my last post) As mentioned, very light and since its aluminum, good cooling . . .

BTW, why doesn't your friend want a side window?

2x120mm should be better than 4x80mm and quieter as well . . .
