you wont be under warranty with the evo 8 when you slide it off the track at an autocross, either. Or if you grenade the engine when you jack up the boost

$26,000 will get me a 2 year old Q45. Throw on a manufacturer's extended warranty and I'm set. That's a lot of luxury, and a lot of power, for the money. I could also get a used GS300 for around that with an extended warranty. Not as much performance, but at least I could ride in it comfortably for more than two hours. Or, if I wanted some perfmorance, I'd buy a '00 Audi S4.

I'm not knocking the EVO, I'm just not salivating at it. For MY money I can buy more car.

I can vouch for used Qs...I had a '94 before my current car and they are fast and luxurious. Used, they are one of the best bargains out there because they have Lexus-like quality, luxury and reliability with far superior performance and without the high Lexus resale you'll have to pay.
