I went and looked at them. Exterior styling is horried, the interior is okay and it just isn't nearly as cool as it could be. It's a good thing they are fast, because other than a straight line there's not much to them.

Unfortunantly handling sux ass, just like the vette.

You obviously have no clue what you're talking about if you think Corvette handling "sux". Go read.

He just got an '04 Pontiac GTO, black with red leather, 6 speed for 27k plus TTL.

He took me for a ride. Never before have I been so dissatisfied with my lowly Maxima.

That's it ATOT, straight A's from here on out. Gotta go do my homework. Later!

he shouldve waited till next year. the next model is gonna get 50 extra horses and some other options

just wish this car had sunroof as an option

Aftermarket blower == more than 50 horses :D

aftermarket blower + next years model = even more power!

Problem with this is that next year's model already has a blower on it.

Oops...I was wrong...the '05 does not have a blower on it as far as I can tell. However, it the HP will be upped to 400. They are using a different engine in it for the '05. Bigger, better, tastier.

If you value the fun-to-drive factor a lot, then Japanese cars are not the best. My acura is sooo boring and feels so heavy, although so far reliable and it saves me money on repairs. My friend doesn't like the way his camry drives either.

Compared to most other cars in the same class it does suck, i'll give you a challange, you can drive a new vette and i will drive my decade old 911 turbo in the twisties and we'll see who wins.

Yeah, the corvette's handling does indeed suck compared to other cars in that class.

obviously he is one of those who thinks he knows stuff but really doesnt. i mean when you say a corvette handles bad you better know wtf you are talking about because its SO far from the truth. even on top gear it got a high time and it had already been beaten to sh!t and back.

He got the car from Anthony Pontiac in Gurnee, IL. He talked to a guy on the GTO forums (www.newagegto.com) who got one for 26.5K. My friend paid 27.3 for his.

Oh, i do know what i am talking about, compared to other cars in the same class, on a REAL track, not some oval circuit which is what it was tested on, the corvette does not handle very well compared to other cars in the same class.

FFS!!!! I am not comparing it to anything but other cars in the same class, take the Audis, BMW's, Mercedes, Porshces in the same damn clsass and drive through some heavy twisties, the 'vette will be the last car.

WTF is the purpose of comparing it to something that it is not comparable to? Compare it to the cars in the same class and the vettes handling sux ass compared to them.

Porsche 911 Turbo Skidpad
Corvette C6 Skidpad

When compared, the Corvette is slightly better.

Well duh. A Camry is fuggin' old man's car. Its like the Cadillac of the 21st century for those that don't want American. Same thing with a ES330 and LS430.

Which Acura have you got?

Do you read ANY enthusiast magazines or follow automobiles at all? I don't have the time to go digging through articles on the net right now, but you'll find that the Corvette not only DOESN'T come in last but it whoops most cars arses. A 911 Carerra? Please - a new Corvette would own that car on a road coarse. The 911 Turbo would be a more fair fight. Go read so you'll be less ignorant on the subject.

Whoa, GM has a $3,500 bonus cash deal with the GTO going on until 9/30 if you finance through GMAC. You can get one for that cheap. Holy sh!t, this is hot.

It is strange that my old 911 handles so much better than any new corvette i have tried.

No, i don't have the time to read any magazines so i don't i do, however, follow the industry.

And on a twisty course the 911 Carerra would own the Corvette so badly it wouldn't even be funny, the Corvette has improved but it is still a bitch to drive, when it let's go you WILL spin it, with the 911 Carerra you can drive hard into the curves, brake and max in the middle, try to do that with a vette. No, actually, don't i don't want your family to have to mourn you.

In short, i have driven both cars and i own a 911 turbo, the 911 turbo that i own has better handling than the vette but still not very good.

I really haven't driven a TL. The new ones are suppose to be pretty decent as far as fun to drive. A few choice upgrades to my Accord have made it quite fun to drive.
