Lets get this straight. Accident on Saturday, back in work on Monday. And he's upset that you didn't visit?? What a whiner.

well, he does run his own business so he can't afford to take time off. *sigh* if i was a loner i wouldnt have to worry about trifle things as such

hmm.

i have been in the hosptal in the winter. i had friends wanting to drive 3-4 hours to come see me. i refused telling them it is not worth the risk to see me with tubes in me and looking like shit. i was not going to to die so they can wait on a nice day and buy me a few beers.

I can understand his point (kinda) but a real friend is not going to want to put you at risk unless its really important. such as if there was a good chance he was going to die.

You are not required to see an injured friend unless they are in the hospital for more than three days or have broken themselves in a way that makes them ripe for ridicule (Ex. Man loses a leg and now has the nickname "stumpy").

Absolutely agree. As a friend, you always make sure they're ok...then laugh at them.

Your friend is an emo puke, and apparently, you've bent his feelings.

Doesn't sound like you're all that close. Tell him that it didn't sound serious enough to warrant a visit...and if he's still pissy about it, tell him to fuck off and be glad he didn't DIAF.

I totaled my truck last week. None of you fuckers came to see me. 🙁
But then I didn't get hurt (little sore) and I am not a bitch.

whoa whoa whoa! you really need a comma there; otherwise it means the exact opposite of your intent. 😉

Whoa. Expecting correct grammar and spelling in a waggy post is like expecting a train to take the interstate. It happens on occasion but it's an accident.

If you are male, then he's overreacting and just being an all-around pussy. Get him a testosterone injection and tell him to walk it off. If he continues to whine like a six year old, ignore him and/or laugh at him.

If you are female, then he's just posturing, trying to get more attention.

My best friend smashed his head open on a steering wheel and was in intensive care for a week, I never even called. He showed up at school a couple weeks later with a lightning bolt scar on his head. I said, "What's up Harry Potter, hows your head feeling?".

Does this guys send you greeting cards on your birthday and Christmas????
