Can't offenders just be shot instead of banned?

I thought I was finally gonna open a thread that showed me how to properly cook fried rice.

OK, here is what my dad told me:
The rice that you use should be really dry. The best would be the rice from a day before. If you make fresh rice, make it a couple hours before. Then, you put some oil in a pan and in that oil you fry onions, garlic. You add some Sambal Oelek and meat(chicken or something similar) and spice it with pepper and salt. Then you take the rice and put it in the pan and just fry it, at the end, you put some Soy Sauce over the rice until it gets a brownish look. If you want to, you can add an egg per person if you want to. He told me, actually you can add about EVERYTHING and just fry it. :)

If you mix in a lot of eggs while the rice has just been in the pan, it tastes pretty good. Then you can fry more eggs separately, chop them up and toss them into the rice.

Sambal Oelek is something hot from Indonesia, you probably get it in a Chinese store and I meant pepper and oil.

It also sticks better if you like it that way by not using too much oil. Try as I may, I cannot make fried rice anyway near as good as my favorite Chinese restaurants.

You need a wok and a very large burner, say, something with over 100,000 BTUs.

Yup, psycho, I think you hit the nail on the head. I will probably buy one of those wok holders with the 25 lb propane bottle for the yard one day. I got electric inside. I been doing meat on H with a hot wok just a hand full at a time so it browns before it boils. But I also think there's more in the rice for flavor than soy sauce. Some doen't even have colour and taste wonderful. Rice cooked in broth is my guess.
