INTEL DH67BLBEM3. I had this ram in until today, worked fine: KINGSTON, 4GB (2 x 2GB) ValueRAM PC3-10600 DDR3 1333MHz.

Today, these came in the mail: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231311

New sticks cause 3 beeps, even the old stick that worked fine this morning don't work anymore. Any tips or suggestions? Will try to grab another pair from retail and see if they work

Reset cmos, both battery pull and jumper reset. Went to best buy, got 2 pny sticks (expensive!!!) Still 3 beeps. Tried various combos with 1,2 and 4 sticks, stil 3 beeps. I guess I fried the mobo when I took out the sticks to replace the memory, despite the wristband

Maybe a dumb question. Did you unplug the computer?

Sorry for the double post. I tried everything I could think of but still the same, beep code indicates memory. I'll do a goggle session tonite but most likely tomorrow I'll be looking into RMA options.

Make sure that the contacts on the memory and the socket are clean. Use alcohol (>=70%). Try with 1 stick in bank0. Re-flash BIOS if you haven't done so. Get a POST card and check with a multimeter. Maybe you had shortened something else. Hard to say from this console but the beep codes not always give you the full picture. It's merely one of the indicators.

RMA is a good option though, if you don't have the time to fiddle with it.

On side note first, I love how dedicated you are to helping. As if you're the older brother.

I tried cleaning the slots with compressed air, don't have a multimeter. I tried all 3 pairs of ram again in every single, dual and 4 stick combo I could think of before returning a pair to best buy.

3 beeps.

I mailed the tech support last night since I have a warranty, waiting for them to respond.

Update: Motherboard has been RMA'ed. I requested Intel to inform me what exactly went wrong but I doubt they'll let me know. New motherboard arrived today and so far everything works well.

Latest BIOS that was available on Intel's site (the one I used) for the past 6 weeks for DH67BLB3 has been pulled.

If you have this mobo, roll back to the (now latest) BIOS.

Interesting. Thanks for the update, Rick.

I doubt, you'll get any response from their side. Hope, you won't have issues with this one.
