Fried Mobo?

Have a Gibabyte GA-8IK1100 mobo that worked great for about 4 months. Then yesterday I plugged in my digital camera to the usb port and everything went dead (I have done this numerous times before with no problems). When I try to reboot nothing happens. No fans, lights, disks...nothing. Tried a new power supply but got the same results...nothing. The mobo has a led next to the memory slots that is supposed to light up when there is power (to warn you not to install or remove memory while there is power present), but the led is not lit. Have I zapped my motherboard? Any suggestions from anyone?

Thanks.

Some plug in component may have failed or need to be reseated. Down to basics. Pull all plugin cards, reseat your vid card and RAM, and see if it boots. If that doesn't work, try plugging in another vid card and only one stick of RAM.

If it starts to boot, you can shut it down and progressively add your components back.

If you're lucky, that may be all it needs. If not, you may be able to identify which component is the cause.

Tried everything that was suggested. Unfortunately nothing resolved my problem, except buying a new motherboard. The old one should still be under warranty. I've sent Gigabyte an email through their website, but I haven't heard anything back from them. Does anyone know anything about getting warranty service from Gigabyte?

Thanks.
