Sometimes when I want a delicious, filling, and nutritious meal I'll buy a package of pre-cooked refrigerated Tyson nuggets, dip them in extra virgin olive oil, and microwave them on high for eight minutes. Bam, fried chicken wings better than anything you can get at any restaurant. :D
You can't use the words nutrition and nuggets in the same sentence.

yeah the bones make it gross, but boneless i can eat just fine

Of course "boneless" almost always means they aren't really wings at all more like stubby tenders!

Bone-in wings are messy and a lot more work but oh they taste sooooo good !!!

I love breaded boneless wings myself. I won't deny that they are basically just nuggets at that point but I don't care they are great and I've been a good boy so I can have some. :p

Well I wouldn't mind the bones if there was a great deal more meat on them.
McDonalds "mighty wings" were HUGE. They were blowing them out for like 1/10th the original price some time near the end of the limited-time availability.

... There's never any bones left. My dog eats it all. I know they say never feed your dog chicken or pork bones as it's dangerous and sharp bones can damage their stomach and intestines but she seems to handle it just fine.

...

Keep telling yourself that, until the worst happens. In a dog's natural diet, poultry doesn't get all this cooked flavor infused into the bone so they're less likely to chew-up and swallow the bones.

Oh I never said boneless wings were not delicious ... just not wings!

:D

In fact the only time I'll go to Buffalo Wild-Wings is on Boneless-Thursday when they're half-price.

The sous-vide then deep fry combo is amazing.

I rarely use any breading, but there is a restaurant that I go to a lot that has some really good lightly breaded garlic pepper fried wings.

Can't say I've ever fried chicken wings.

Closest I got was when my friends next door neighbor caught their house on fire while deep-frying some lol

The way I used to make 'em is:
-Get a bunch of wings
-Toss 'em on the grill
-Keep turning them every so often.......takes quite a while
-Get a batch of my (in)famous sauce.......ok, it was more or less whatever I could find in the fridge and cupboard lol
-Slather it on, then flip.....repeat until done. Very messy, but oh so good!

Gonna try it this way now:
-Get a bunch of wings
-Put 'em on a cookie sheet
-Bake 'em until almost done
-Then do the grill song and dance above until done. Seems way easier, but I haven't tried it yet

Easiest grill method is to grill indirect. This way, there's no need to turn the chicken wings or move it at all.

1) Place the wings on the grill away from the fire.
2) Close the lid with the vents fully open on top and bottom of the grill.
3) Walk away for 45 minutes.
4) Come back to collect your finished wings.

Simple and foolproof. If you like to sauce your wings on the grill, you can sauce the wings at step 4 and let it go another 5-10 minutes.

I like to put the coals in the center of the grill and place the food around it but you can bank the coals to one of the grill if you want. Any indirect method will work. And I like to toss some fruit wood chips like cherry or apple to the fire before I close the lid in the beginning to give it some smoke.

Costco had big package of Tyson nuggets on sale so I bought a bag and baked it in the oven. The chicken and breading tasted so bad I ended up throwing it all in the trash. I didn't even want to give it to my dog. Tyson nuggets are worse than dog food.

Some of you have zero taste buds.

The worst part is some people have been trained to like the flavor of the fillers used. The perennial argument but, "Johnnie or Suzy will only eat fast food crap." King convenience reigns and screw our health or the kids.

Non. Breading is to add flavor or texture where none would otherwise exist. Wings can be made crispy and tasty without breading and if yours are not great plain then you're doing something wrong.

Tell them that they will eat what is put in front of them or go to bed without dinner.

I'll toss my wings in a flour/ seasoning/salt mixture just to dust and dry them before they go in the fryer. Gives the skin a bit more crispy texture, but is largely unnoticeable.
Sure as hell ain't this abomination called breading.
