I'm fed up with my fridge. Both of the plastic drawers on the bottom are cracked and broken and 2 out of the 3 side rails on the door are broken, and the seal is coming off. And the fridge is only like 3 years old!

I go to their site to check out how much it will be: $50 per drawer!, and each rail for the door is $13! The drawers are nothing but a cheap plastic bin, wtf?!

I looked on ebay but didn't really find anything much cheaper.

I cracked the fridge drawer of my roommate/landlord's fridge once. Easily fixable with a duct tape. I offered to give her cash however much it costs to replace it (like 70 bucks) but i ended up just buying a new one.

I would've pocketed the cash, but that's just me.

My door rails are duct taped, and I am going to see if I can fix one of the drawers via duct tape as well. The other drawer is basically missing it's entire front, so it's gone.

Although the repair, at $239 plus tax, is only about $150 less than a new machine, Ms. Harvey says every penny counts, particularly since her husband, a truck driver, had his workweek cut by one day. ?I have two sons in college already and my 18-year-old twins are going to college,? she said. ?If I can milk the washing machine to make it work a little longer, talk to it and make it happy, that?s what I?m going to do. I need every cent.?
There's a Maytag washing machine here in my apartment, and it's got to be older than me. It still works too. Counting down until the drum finally rusts through.....5....4....frosted butts....76....chicken.....dammit.

Pretty much. This is why there's no Autozone or Napa for fridges. You have to go the dealer.
