What would happen if you stuck highend pc parts into a refridgerator and modified it so it worked as a computer? me and my friend were discussing this and we were wondering if it would be useable.

good point. never thought of that. but would there be condensation if no water was introduced? like maybe freeze-dried. o_0

You'd kill the fridge as it would constantly be on. It wouldn't change things too much temp wise as it would warm up very quick. I guess you could use a really big freezer, but it simply isnt practical. Electricity costs, possible condensation, sitting next to a freezer that constantly on. You'll probably be safer, get better temps, and have more convenience just watercooling. Not to mention fridges aren't cheap either.

I had the same idea. I would have a mile (or a little less) of copper tubing all wound about frozen in a bat of 20% radiator fluid and H2O in a huge freezer. Same problem though, the freezer can't run long (hard) enough to keep it frozen with that much heat introduced. Bump on the water cooling.
