It resizes the image to fit in your screen, then enlarges it when you click on it. Clicking again shrinks it back down. It makes threads like these bearable.

I don't use Firefox, so that's a no-go for me. I just turned off embedded images... it's not that much effort to click a link or two.

Anyway, here's mine.

I like the larger picture. I can see most pictures good enough without resizing. You have to click every thumbnail.

It's a matter of preference I suppose. The addon you posted keeps the formatting in check, but it can still take a while for a page full of 3MB+ JPEGs people haven't bothered resizing/compressing to load.

I haven't had more than a few problems with that. I can see how it would be painful on a slower connection.

Most of my stuff is packed away for my big move, desk looks substantially less impressive without the 24" monitor and all of my stuff. And it's a huge mess because I have an exam tomorrow.
