Finally got to get my car out for the first time in about a year! :shocked:

In the Waterbox

Only 2 pics I got so far, hopefully more will trickle in as the people who took the pics put them online.

Car was down about 10MPH all day but the 60's were in the usual high 1.6x range. Overall ET was about .3 off but hey, it was hot and humid so I can't complain. Overall a great day!

It wasn't a competition, just a private Test-n-Tune. This allows us to tweak without the crowds. I was there doing some shakedowns and logging since the car has been sitting for so long. I just wanted to be sure the transmission was ok since it gave me fits the last time I drove it.

those 1998-2002 Fbodies will probably be better than the current camaro's IMO due to the new maro's weight.


Just like how the Terminator Mustang Cobra imo is still better than the GT500's or whatever rendition of a mustang they make

I've never done a 1/4 mile but my cars really not geared towards out and out pace 😛 but I've tracked it twice so far and it was amazing fun!

Interesting how the Z/28 is a tier below the SS, when in the '60's it was the opposite, the Z/28 was the most powerful stock camaro. It would be the same way right now, but the Z/28 is on indefinite hold.

Meanwhile they're making useless garbage like the CTS and CTS-v Coupe. :|

If you drove a 18.78 1/4 mile you did not drive a 3.11 0-60, I can guarantee that. Bone stock those things run in the 5's.

He was just doing a test 'n' tune which means he was tuning his car and jsut seeing how it would run. Not to make the best times, shutting off halfway through the run, ect....
