I'm not sure why, or if, we need FDT's anymore. Every week brings the same old XP+Coolmon+Corneramp and Blackbox+Gkrellm pics. Time for something a little more useful: A thread where you just post your wallpaper! 
Please include some notice if your wallpaper is unsuitible for work, school, or home w/ wife or parents. I hate having to have my pointer on the X every time I click a link.
So, that said, here are my wallpapers, complete with a little blurb about their creation:
Spacescape Redux
1600x1200 PNG, 2 megs
This was an attempt to recreate a wallpaper I made once called "Spacescape", which was lost in a reformat. I made it with Paint Shop Pro 7 in about 2 hours, using the Glitterato and Lunercell plugins.
Project One poster concept
512x512 PNG, 300k
I originally made this as a part of a larger scene for an early concept for a game I'm working on, currently known only as "Project One". The other members of the group didn't like it very much, but they DID like this part of it, so I added a little more detail and put together a pic suitible for a splash screen. This is a merge of the only copy I could find. It's only 512x512, but it looks nice when stretched out to 800x600.
