went out last night to see Lewis Black and crashed on the floor of my friend's place in Jersey City afterward... tonight I'm just taking it easy, almost feeling hung-over.

my big plans tonight are catching up on my tivo, leveling up my warlock in WoW, and washing my kitchen floor at some point.
 
Resist the urge to hammer beers when my friends get in town to meet up every night..

Then once my friends arrive in town to meet up, probably hammer beers and repeat daily until monday morning.

I don't know what it is about Mario Kart on the Wii but my wife can kick my ass at it 8 times out of 10 🙁

Any other game and it's not even close though...

As for what I'm doing.

I have no clue. I have a ton of movies to catch up on at home and if my wife is tired and takes a nap (she's pregnant and constantly tired now days) then I might get some FO3 game play in.

And for the record, my wife has never beaten me in Mario Kart. Not even one single race when I'm driving crappy vehicles 😛 God bless her, she just doesn't give up though!
 
I'm going to watch some college basketball. Whether it's with friends at a bar or at my house, still up in the air. I'd rather not go out tonight because tomorrow my neighbor's dad is the Grand Marshall of the St. Patty's day parade and it's going to be a fucking shit show; Beer, Mini Hot Dogs and a Trolley.
 
I just registered my car and my bike, went to the bank, and picked up stuff at the auto parts store. I know what I'll be doing this weekend! 😀
 
Going to Boston Pizza with the help desk guys, then going to go play Magic with the server guys. When I get home I'll get back to migrating a large file based app to use MySQL.

You really can't really have a bigger geek night then that. 😛

Watching TSCC, job searching and sleeping early. So it turns out I'm not indestructable (didn't knock on wood, shit). Half the office is out sick with a cold, one even has pneumonia, and I got it a few days ago. I returned the favour by coming to work the past two days to spread the love, even though I felt deathly.
 
My a cappella group has its spring concert tonight, and I am so so so excited! Then an after-party at the bf's house, where I will be staying when the party is over. Today is wonderful.

But are you married or living with your SO? If so, you're not truly relaxing. My job is to say what the other married folks are too scared to say. The only time I truly relax is when I'm away on business. I wish those extra days on the business trips were with the mistress...they're with the bed. The empty bed. I just wanna be alone...it's so easy to relax when you don't have to be an emotional tampon.
