Never tried this before. My sister brought down a ton of different beers from Oregon when she came to visit.

Tomorrow I'm planning on drinking for the first time a Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier or a Smoked Beer. I'm big on hefeweizens and a friend suggested their weizen variety. He said this stuff literally tastes like you're drinking bacon. I've seen a few reviews on youtube and might even film a reaction video. Either way, it sounds like Im up for a wild ride with this stuff.

Aye. I love this stuff. I drink beer for one reason -- to get drunk. This stuff does it the best, and the cheapest. $8 for a 12 pack (plus deposit) or $2 for a 40oz.

This stuff rules.

I remember when I first saw Bud Wheat on sale at my local store, I think it was going for a promotional offer of $3 a six pack. I said to the owner, "Hey Jerry, are these any good?" He looked at me and said, "They're 50 cents a bottle, it doesn't matter," to which I replied, "Good point." My friends and I then bought about 12 six packs throughout the course of the day (I lived next door so we could manage the ~15 foot walk). Good times, bad beer (although I will buy it again if I see it on sale for $3).

No beer for me tonight, but I get Three Philosophers tomorrow.
