I frequently read beeradvocate to try different beers, these were pretty high rated and i wanted to see what the hoopla is about.

It's beer week here in Los Angeles. 2nd annual. Tomorrow going to Taste of the Pier in Redondo, 12 tasting tickets(4 oz tasters) for 10 bucks. Then hitting up Oktoberfest at Alpine Village off the 110. Should be a good Saturday. I can't really drink any more, but I'll sip a few beers.

Picked up this Bomber tonight.....

First time trying this Smuttynose big brew, Pleasantly surprised - reminds me more of a Barley Wine instead of a Belgian Quad, but hey who's complaining 😉
