What is that floating bar that tells you about memory usage, temperature, and news? Also what is that dock at the bottom of the screen?

he's using yzdock and samurize.

i use Cool Mon for my stats. other people use samurize.

I use YZ Dock for teh icon bar

It should be standard practice to list the Theme and other wares associated with the assembly of a good desktop. I propose a format also:

Theme: Name, location from where obtained if possible
Wallpaper: Name, filename, location from where obtained if possible
Software: Name, location from where obtained if possible, cost (if any)
