go ikea! heh. we have the same one in our living room for the family comp. my brother is a mess tho. and well, so is my computer workspace.. but dammit, i live in a pidly dorm where everything is on my desk :p

oh, and what are some of you using for the stat in the backgroud.. coolmon? or something else?

Stats? You mean Winamp? :p

Though I've been meaning to run a stat program of some sort.. just need to find the right look.

And Ikea is awesome.. the desk only cost me $100.. what a bargain! :D



no not winamp :p stuff w/ the date/cpu/mem usage/temps/etc. I know of coolmon, wondering what others are using.

and $100.. yeah, we got ours a bit before it went on sale.. i think.. or something. I picked up a chair they had for $130 for $50 :p

Can anyone tell me what program are SSP and Imported using to change their desktop from the standard winxp style?

Get the right uxtheme.dll (There is a specific SP1 one), then you'll want to replace the uxtheme.dll's in c:\windows\system32 c:\windows\system32\dllcache and c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386 (if using SP1) with the modified one. You should probably backup the standard uxtheme.dll though.. rename it like uxtheme.bak :)
