Yeah, but it was worth the ~15ish I paid for it.

I wouldn't have paid full price for it, but for a "budget" title it was well worth it.

Seeing as how those are mostly IM windows, a tabbed IM client might be more useful for him. Plus he's already using Mozilla which has tabbed browsing...

You need higher res icons.

Where at? They are pretty much all high res PNG's except for the ones in the "frequent" section of my start menu. And since those could be almost any icon on my system I am not to worried about it. It would suck to have to high-res every icon for every app/game.
