pictures dont always make the best backgrounds. then dont scale right, and i think ive always used rendered ones

This one makes a pretty good background.
Although you're right. Most photos are way too busy for desktops. I've used quite a few along the way, but I admit to being addicted to digitalblasphemy stuff myself. I use a lot of digitally drawn earthscapes, too.

sort of weird...but...i love the picture and i just couldnt handle it anymore.

im not very skilled at teh photochopping...but i really love the picture and couldnt shake the urge to rub the crusty off.
