UXTheme lets you use new skins in Windows XP.
Coolmon and StatBar put system info on Windows desktops.

How to take a screenshot

Windows: Hit printscreen (not alt+printscreen or any other combo), then paste in paint, photoshop, etc. Then save as JPG or another browser-friendly format.
UNIX: Use The GIMP or ksnapshot, which I think is included in the kdegraphics package.

on my old powermac, its just listed as "hard drive". hasnt been turned on in a year though, so it actually doesnt say anything.

Maybe I'd be more interested if the desktops were a little more varied. Every desktop is the same:

Windows XP
Silver, Mac OS X, or the theme with the screw in the start button
StarBar or Coolmon, or both
Bubbley desktop icons
digitalblasphemy, artofgregmartin, or porno wallpaper

For one thing, why is it that so many of you people bash macs every time you see them being discussed, but take so much time to make your cardboard cutout WinXP desktop look lile OS X? I just don't get it!
