First, some essential downloads:
CoolMon, the program that puts info on Windows desktops.
Transparent, a tiny little program that makes the labels of your Win95/98/ME/NT/2K desktop icons transparent, like in XP.
Both are used in the gaming rig pic.

Second, my desktops:

My gaming rig (Windows 2000): Low quality High quality
My workstation (Linux From Scratch 3.2-RC1): Low quality High quality
My server (Mandrake Linux 8): Low quality High quality

Finally, my workspaces. These are more than a month old, but they haven't changed since:

Server and workstation: Low quality High quality
Gaming rig: Low quality High quality

BTW, if your desktop is in any way not safe for work or school, please say so. It's hard to enjoy an FDT when you have to do an "emergency kill" every other pic. 🙂

Getting harder and harder to kind good pics for my desktop (that the wife will allow!) >>



i'll never understand why some people put so many icons on the desktop.. Mine is more crowded than i would like now. I cant imagine having anymore. i like the clean uncluttered look. All the shortcuts i need are in the start menu. 🙂

i like the backround though. 🙂
 
My deskop hasn't changed, but my laptop has. I've got XP Pro on there now. I want a different background, but it apprears greg martins web site is down for an update...so that'll have to wait
