Ok, here's my story. I got some new fans that i wanted to use with my baybus that i got a while ago. So i put in the wires of my fan into the baybus. I hold both the fan and the bay bus in my hand. I press the power button on my case. It starts up and then i click my switch of the bay bus to test if it worked. The whole computer shut down and wouldnt turn back on for a few minutes. wth?? then i try it again. This time it turns on, then i click the switch again. Seems ok, nothing happens.......................yet. my comp shut down again after about 7 seconds. Wouldnt turn on again. Then i do it a third time. This time it works, but then i accidently touch the baybus to the metal on my case, i see a fricking spark!!!!!!!! my comp then shuts down again. wont turn on again. i wait, turn it back on, then it works i dont touch any metal. all is fine. But then i connect ALL 4 of my fans, and when i flipped the switch of my 3rd baybus switch. My fricking computer shuts down again. it seems like i fried the 3rd switch, so that's dead now. so now i have 3 fans working. Right now im running the same computer. all is working fine cept the 3rd switch.

Ok so my question is, do you guys think i have any problems? like i shorted out something? Rite now my computer is running with no problem at all. everything seems fine. If anything got shorted out or broke, im going to be fscking pissed cause i just got this baby (see sig) like 2 weeks ago.

So you get a new pc, then do something that screws it up THREE freaking times without trying to figure out what was wrong???

I will tell you what the problem is: the nut behind the keyboard needs to be replaced.

Definately sounds like you have a ground wrong somewhere. Unhook that baybus as soon as you can and go through every connection again. Your going to fry somethin really bad if you don't.

ok, i really dont understand what would convince you to keep playing with the baybus when you KNOW that there has to be an electrical problem somewhere.

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU KEEP F'ING WITH IT?!?! Do you stick screw drivers into ligh sockets? or how about putting bare extention cords in your mouth while they are plugged in?

Most likely you've got a ground loop somewhere, probably pinched a wire with a screw. However, your PS might just not have the balls to run the thing. But still.

Are you the type of person who turns circuit breakers back on repediatly without figuring out whats wrong? Ich.
