Freshwater Aquarium forums...

I've recently purchased a new 46 gallon bow front tank with stand. I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good forum for discussing them and get ideas for setting them up.

This may be a bit OT, I am curious why you are doing freshwater vs saltwater or reef tank. I just sold a reef tank and never had the opportunity to try fresh water.

I am more experienced with freshwater, and my favorite species of fish are Tetras. I used to work for a few businesses that took care of fresh and salt water tanks as a service, and the freshwater tanks were always consistently easier to manage overall than the marine or reef tanks.

Your tank sounds like the same one I bought. 46 gallon bowfront from Petco, I forget what brand. It's a nice tank and so far I have no problems with it. I bought the whole set so it came with a hood, a glass top and a stand. I went salt water with mine though. So far I've got a false percula, an anemone and few soft corals.
