fresh xp install prob no 2.....why does my computer restart...wen i pick standby?

no no, no need a64 3200 and 6800gt are plent fast for anyhting at the moment,

was having a problem with the onboard lan on this K8NE-Deluxe, and i tried a few things, i thought it was the socket in my room, but turns out it was my computer, needed reformatting anyway got shafted with virus' so i reformatted and everythings working better than before expcept standby resets my computer and when i load windows again it says recovered from a serious error
