Whiskey can not make any man lose a man card under any circumstances.

It's rule #32.

Nothing wrong with some fresh squeezed juice and alcohol. Now if it was lime soda, that's a different story.

oh, dear. that's... unspeakable.

Meh....that's a liqueur derived from malt scotch whiskey, among other things. You'd lose the man card for drinking it, but I don't believe it falls under the whiskey category. It's in whatever category Zima and Tuaca inhabit.

No way you are loosing your card. Your man card cannot expire, simply because you chose Maker's Mark.

In fact, quite a lot of men enjoy squeezing out juice themselves.

Absolutely! Give it up!

Anything except moonshine, grain alcohol, or windsheild wiper fluid just ain't manly

Nope, your card remains intact. A little bit of citrus goes very well with bourbon. The key phrase there is "little bit". A quick squeeze of lemon or lime is fine. A shot of bourbon in a glass of orange juice is cause for a severe beating.

Yes. You taint whiskey. You are no man. As for the OP, meh... That's like soco and lime I guess. I think the only thing that jeapordizes your man card is that you described the lime as fresh sqeezed.

Yes. An anything sour is a girlie drink. You might as well order a fuzzy navel.

no. Come to think about it, I crave some woodford reserve now.

Thanks OP :)

Never heard of woodford reserve, what is it?

Its GOOD :)

Its "one grade" higher than Makers mark which is also a bourbon.

Makers is usually 20-25$ per 750mL, woodford is 30-35$ per 750mL. Definitely worth a try, but I usually only drink it neat with a single ice cube. Knob Creek is another bourbon that is decent, but slightly more expensive than woodford; I happen to like woodford better.

If you want to go crazy, find Booker's. That stuff will set you up for the rest of the night after 2 drinks (127proof).

Figured as much. I saw it ordered once by some guy in a movie (American Psycho 2?) a while back and was curious.

I'll stick to my scotch... neat.

Hmm the question is, what suddenly gave you the idea to squeeze some lime into scotch? So random, despite how it turned out.
