After looking at a Murano for awhile, I finally figured out what the thing reminds me of.....anyone remember the F10 wagon of the mid-70's? A side view of Maurano looks like an expanded F10, Nissan's first attempt at FWD in this country and a real POS. I think it's the window treatment....any links to a picture of an F10?

The butt looks so weird in the Murano. Is like a fat lady's ass. I too wonder if they will release an Infiniti version of the Murano to better compete with the RX330.

I really like it. I have an explorer and swore that I would not get another SUV since I didn't enjoy driving one. But Nissan may change my mind.

I doubt the Murano drives like a car. It may ride like one.. but that is alot of height.

Looks decent, I sorta wish it got better mileage, maybe if they had a hybrid version of it.

The car that finally emerged from Ford's secret design section at the factory would change America forever. For $825, a Model T customer could take home a car that was light, at about 1,200 pounds; relatively powerful, with a four-cylinder, twenty horsepower engine, and fairly easy to drive, with a two-speed, foot-controlled "planetary" transmission.

I went to test drive on today. I have to say it was an impressive ride. The engine did not choke at any moment. Took this baby to 80 and still felt like it had plenty of power. The new CVT transmission is great....very smooth.

It did feel like a car while driving. Didn't have that top-heavy feeling.

I placed an order for one...should have it in a couple of weeks.

How big is the Murano? I can't tell in the pic I've seen. Is it closer to the Vibe, or the RX300?

As far as I can tell from searching, this is the first post about Fresh Alloy's test.
Fresh Alloy article

It looks nice. I would like it in wagon form.

I found this interesting...
Hmmm?the first thing we noticed was the reflection of the upper dash on the windshield due to its extreme rake. Choosing a darker interior will probably resolve that issue.
I have the same problem with my 240sx's dash and it's almost matte black :p.

polarized sun glasses. jeez, you peeps live in the dark ages

I wear glasses though.

prescription sunglasses:p

My local dealer had one on the lot today. I couldn't get up close because they were closed, but from what I could see, it's not as tall as the RX300, in fact it's very low to the ground, like the vibe or outlook.

I saw one on the street a couple days ago. Looked pretty high but everything does from a 240sx.

I take it you haven't seen one. While they aren't going to be the off road monster, they have a hell of a lot more going for them then an Aztek. They will suffice for the winter blizzard and the trip to the sandy beach.
