Error in EventViewer: Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0008029E7560. The following error occurred:
The semaphore timeout period has expired. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.
The problem goes away after each reboot but the laptop is then disconnected 15 mins following the login into the operating system. I'm desperate. Any help would be appreciated.
OS: Windows XP Home Edition SP2
Network adapter: Realtek RTL8139C+ Fast Ethernet NIC
Browser: Firefox
