My friends Girl Friend just moved to the US. Se wants her Lap Top to be in english. Is there a way to switch the base language?

mui packs MIGHT do it...

regional settings might help, but to get full English XP you need to install it.

That's what I was thinking. Too bad... The last time I worked with Multi-Language was 2002. It's fun installing NT in Japanese...
 
Call MS ask for a replacement CD to be shipped.
Might cost $30 or so ... depending how long she had XP.

Still better than buying a new one.
Otherwise - there is no way to change the language (it is stupid, I agree).
