How so? I just cut and pasted a news article I found interesting, much like everyone else. Chirac is out of line, not me.

You think a "New Heatwave Alert System" is some cutting-edge technology?

A thermometer would have done nothing to resolve their heatwave, nor would it made up for their biology and lack of cooling methods.

..perhaps Chirac could have stayed in the Palace and ordered doctors to stay put once the "heatwave alert system" starting going off? He waited until 10,000 died, then returned to France and criticized the United States for the death in Iraq...

John, I understand what you've done with the whole France thing (I think). Unfortunately the people you are mocking are so imbedded in their own viewpoint that they will never get it.

What's wrong with this picture, sir?

France is a lot bigger than Portugal. A little common sense will fill in the rest.

I am starting to realize that, sir. I am just not looking forward to five more years of this nonsense.

I'm wondering if those who had a problem with Koni's "*vomit*" statement are as upset with these threads by you, sir.

You really have no class.

Or perhaps you Bush apologists (YABAs, just to ward off Caddie) are so embedded in Bush's posterior that you cannot see the difference between a willful decison to slaughter thousands of innocent people and an uncontrollable act of nature. (Though I suppose from a purely genetic point of view, Bush is also an uncontrollable act of nature.) Bush DID decide to invade Iraq. Chirac did NOT decide to stage a heat wave.

Bottom line, this "whole France thing" is stupid and childish. It's another transparent attempt to distract from the problems surrounding the Bush administration.

So I guess the question over the handling of the heat in France is off the table, right? ...if it's not "NO WAR FOR OIL...BUSH IS THE DEVIL...," it's not fair game, right? When was the last time 10,000 French died in a matter of a month or two? You are right, I guess, we shouldn't talk about this...let's go back to the 'BUSH is stupid' threads.

Galt's false sympathy for the French are duly noted in these forums. Suffice to say, I believe everyone can detect the odor of his sanctimonious BS and stay clear of the numerous piles he's left strewn about the front yard. You reek like sh!t, sir.

Perhaps if there was a moment of silence thread for all the French deaths of the heat wave, and John posted "vomit" in it, I would be.

There won't be any such thread, sir; people around here would rather turn a deaf-ear to the cries for help coming out of France. They are too busy worrying about the loss of 300 Americans as opposed to 10,000+ elderly...

I'll ask again: are we to assume that the 10,000+ innocent people who died in the Iraq invasion don't count? Why not? Why do you keep omitting them from your little "exploiting death to further my agenda" rants?

Please show me statistics (aside from www.bushkilled1millioniraqis.com) that substantiate your claims regarding civilian deaths. Are you referring to the armed belligerents who took up arms against America for Saddam? Please show me some figures, and I will gladly continue down this path with you, buddy.

Why would it take that? Doesn't the fact that Galt keeps making these threads/posts about the death of the French meet your criteria you used to lambaste phillyTIM?

Your sarcastic quote - <<Therefore, I'm disgusted by this day. I couldn't care 2 shits about the 3,000 people that died. Because what's really important is the politics, not the people that died. I could care less about the fact that they were innocents. What's important are the politics. That's what is really important. Thank god this day is almost over. Of course, I'm really looking forward to complaining about the politics next year.>>

Why, exactly, are you offended by phillyTIM and not Galt?

You still trolling google doing your high-powered statistical research, Bow?
