I found this more funny

Jerome Cahuzac, the former budget minister and thus the man responsible for clamping down on tax evasion, was forced to admit he had a secret bank account in Switzerland containing $780,000, and he is now facing charges of tax fraud. Confirmation came only after he repeatedly denied the accusation, first made by a journalist working for the investigative website Mediapart.

The guy in charge of collecting this ridiculous tax is evading it at the same time.

No, the funniest part is this:

Now, after just 11 months in office, his approval rating is down to 29%, according to a poll carried out by CSA for Les Echos, released on April 4. That’s a drop of 4 percentage points in just one month, and 9 points down from his February rating.

The citizen's call for blood then backtrack when they find out how many have to be leeched.

The ruling class is the same no matter where you go. It's amazing that so many people continue to believe in the legitimacy of government.

Similar to how our Secretary of Treasury was a tax delinquent for 8 years until exposed due to his nomination.

I am sure there are other similarities to some of our democratic leaders who are living high off the hog while their constituents are struggling to make ends meet all while saying 'everyone must sacrifice for the good of society...

I don't really care how much they make, as long as they pay the associated taxes they're asking everyone else to pay.

You can't mean that those people that donated the $750 million dollars to Obama's reelection campaign actually expect to get something back for their money?

Of course, when I was growing up in Chicago we did define an 'honest politician' as one that stayed bought after you paid them off once.
