I have a new driver's side front fender, because of freezing rain. 🙁 It's beautiful, as long as you don't have to drive on it.

Man that ish can get dangerous. A few years ago we had a really bad ice storm that downed power lines and cut power to some folks for over 2 weeks. I had some really good pics of it...trees all weighed down and leaning over cars, etc.

98, right? Some parts of quebec and ontario were also badly hit, thankfully not here.

hehe, for up to 2 weeks? I live in Massena, NY (it's right on the Canadian border, connects into Cornwall) and we didn't have power for 3 1/2 weeks, no school during that time, and all roads were closed as well. It's crazy how bad mother nature can wreck us, no matter how advanced we get.

we got freezing rain in feb 2003 in austin. i had to mail off a school app that day, so i was out driving around. kinda fun driving on 1" of ice.

some morons got into a 4x4 wrangler and tried to drive up spicewood springs. the road goes straight up a 25 degree or so grade. needless to say, they didn't get very far, and what they did get, the slid back down.

We had freezing rain a while back, trees were exploding, our bridge had huge icicles ( 2' type) that fell and damaged a lot of cars.. this was.. in 98? or so, I forget but it was in washington state
