Freewwweb files for chapter 11

From looking over http://www.wsrn.com/apps/news/art.xpl?id=492919&f=NEWS&s=JWEB, it looks like Freewwweb is going through the Chapter 11 proceedings and Juno is already lined up to snap them up. First WorldSpy now Freewwweb. I guess the days of free internet without ads are over.

There's still free net w/o banners out there (Not officially) if you know what to do and where to look.

Check out http://www.worldshare.net. While they say that they ask you to pay a $15 yearly fee to use them, they also say that it's not required to pay the $15 annual fee. I use it for my backup dial-in ISP for my cable connection. Works great! No ads, just a survey to fill out every month.
