Freeware PDF Viewer?

I don't know why, but adobe reader is driving me nuts. It always wants to update itself, which never works, and it is slow...

Are there any other (free) programs that do a better job, or is Reader pretty much the best?


I'm also looking for a better alternative to winzip...

however, remember installing the free JPEG2000 decoder update as well. you can do it from Foxit's HELP menu.

I wish the same could be said for java. Though Adobe is just as bad. Lets hope the new java is a lot better than the last. I don't think Adobe will ever get it right.

Foxit Reader is great but it lacks features.

PDF-XCHANGE VIEWER is a lot better.

How does it compare in terms of resources used on a system compared with Foxit Reader?
