Freespace 2 Campaigns

Freespace 2.... possibly the best space combat game made to date....

Why we havent had a sequel, no-one knows, it was that great.

Now, Im bored. Ive completed the game umpteen times and although I dont tire of the gameplay, the graphics are slightly worn and the storyline is the same everytime.

Does anyone know of any good user-made or developer-made campaigns worth playing or even a gfx mod to make it look more up to date?

ill give you hope, when i last played freespace 2, like 3 months ago, i did read somewhere that there was a gfx update mod out, i never downloaded it, and thats all i know about it, gl

I loved the original Freespace. I bought one of the first forcefeedback joysticks on the market, the Logitech Wingman Force. This thing was awesome back in the day, and I found myself playing through a game I hadn't heard of, and beating it within a week. It came with the joystick.

As for Freespace 2, I know nothing about it. Just wanted to share my story 😀.

At least if you wanted to hijack my thread, you could have made the story actually interesting 😛

But heh, I havent played Freespace1 yet. Perhaps its time to find it.
