Freesco problems with Digital NIC

Well, I've got Freesco set up, however the lights on my Digital Tulip 21040 NIC go once it boots. If I run ifconfig it shows it on eth1 with the IP that I assigned to it, but if I do cat /proc/pci it shows it as "Unknown Manufacturer". I tried updating the drivers, but that didn't seem to help any. Any ideas?
